The Finance Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 53 "An Act                    
annulling changes made by certain regulations adopted by the                   
Department of Health and Social Services relating to funding of                
abortion services under the general relief medical program; and                
providing for an effective date" and recommended it be replaced                
with                                                                           
                                                                               
 CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 53(FIN), entitled:                                     
"An Act relating to payment for abortions under                               
Medicaid and general relief medical assistance;                                
annulling changes made by certain regulations                                  
adopted by the Department of Health and Social                                 
Services relating to funding of abortion services                              
under the general relief medical program; and                                  
providing for an effective date."
